Communication
Communicating with your sponsored child is really quite easy. You can email or use regular mail to send cards & letters. Us Postal Service Mail combined with the Honduran Postal Service is usually reliable.
Mail will eventually reach the home but it takes from 8 days to 8 months. For that reason alone we highly recommend email as the preferred method for connecting children and their sponsors.
There is no need to write in Spanish as we have several translators at the Village. If you write in English your response will be in English. If you would like to receive a response in Spanish just say so in your letter and it will not be translated.
Many of the children are studying English and this is a great opportunity for the children to show you how well they are doing.
